Welcome to a bicycle tour that will take you to discover the impressive canyons of the Serranía de La Macarena. Day 1. ARRIVAL AT VISTAHERMOSA
On the first day of our exciting MACARENA MTB bike touring adventure, we will meet in Vistahermosa, a city located two and a half hours from Villavicencio. This day will be dedicated to essential preparations. We will arrive with our bicycles and we will make sure that they are in perfect condition to face the trip. We will adjust the brakes, wheels and any necessary details to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. We will also go over our equipment, making sure we have everything we will need on our trip. In the midst of excitement and anticipation, we will get ready for the great adventure that awaits us in the days to come, with the certainty that this first step will mark the beginning of a unique and unforgettable experience.

Day 2. VISTAHERMOSA - LA MACARENA 145 KM. The second day of our epic adventure will be an unforgettable challenge. In this section, we will travel an astonishing distance of 145 kilometers, from Vistahermosa to La Macarena. The terrain will present numerous undulations, adding a touch of difficulty to the route, which will make each pedal stroke a true feat. Throughout the route, we will have strategic hydration and supply points, with short stops that will allow us to recharge our batteries. We will cross the Yarumales channel and the Guayabero river on slabs, which will provide us with impressive views and unforgettable moments. Due to the rainy season in the area, it is likely that we will encounter muddy sections, so it is essential to bring your deflation kit. It is important to remember that this is not a competition, but we require that participants who register for this date have a good level.
Day 3. LA MACARENA - CABIN ENTRANCE TO CRYSTALS 24 KM
The third day of our exciting adventure will take us to the amazing Caño Cristales. We will start early by heading to CORMACARENA to carry out the necessary administrative procedures that will allow us to enter Caño Cristales. Once the processes are completed, we will begin a journey of approximately 13 kilometers. This section will include an exciting canoe crossing of the Guayabero River, a unique experience amidst the natural beauty of the region. We will leave our bicycles in a cabin located at the entrance to Caño Cristales and we will undertake an exciting trek that will take us approximately 7 hours. During this time, we will explore and admire the spectacular nature of Caño Cristales, with its crystal-clear waters and surprising colorful formations. At the end of the trek, we will return to La Macarena along the same route and prepare for a night of partying in the plains, where we will enjoy the tradition, gastronomy and culture of the region at a themed dinner. It will be a day full of adventures and unique experiences that you will never forget.
Day 4. LA MACARENA - TREKKING CAÑO 7 MACHOS- CANOES 50 KM. The fourth day of our adventure will begin with an exciting bicycle ride of approximately 35 kilometers, which will take us to Caño Siete Machos. On this journey, we will cross the majestic Guayabero River again, enjoying the views and excitement that this natural setting offers.
Caño Siete Machos, a truly surprising place. For approximately 4 hours, we will explore this unique environment, with the opportunity to enjoy refreshing swims in some of its magical places. The landscape and natural beauty of this place will leave you speechless.
After leaving Caño Siete Machos, we will continue our bicycle tour for 15 kilometers until we reach our lunch and rest place. At this site, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy a small hidden waterfall, perfect to recharge your batteries and continue enjoying this unforgettable adventure. The day promises to be exciting and full of unique experiences in the middle of nature.
Day 5. CANOAS TREKKING - VISTAHERMOSA 98 KM. The fifth day of our exciting adventure will immerse us in the beauty of Caño Canoas. We will begin with a trekking that will take us through this magical place, where we will be able to marvel at five impressive waterfalls that will delight our senses. Caño Canoas is a spectacular site in the La Macarena mountain range, and you will have the opportunity to live a unique experience as you cross behind a splendid waterfall, enjoy impressive views and take a refreshing swim in this majestic environment. The imagination has no limits in this incredible place, where nature unfolds at its finest.
After enjoying this natural paradise and coordinating with the participants, we will return to Vistahermosa, thus completing our unforgettable journey. This cycling and trekking adventure through the Macarena region is sure to leave us with indelible memories and a deeper appreciation of the majesty of nature. Get ready to close this unique experience with a flourish!
Day 6. RETURN TO PLACES OF ORIGIN. The last day of our unforgettable adventure will mark the return to our places of origin, taking with us not only our bicycles and equipment, but also the memories, the best photos and the satisfaction of having completed a challenging 290-kilometer journey. This unique experience has allowed us to explore the majesty of the Macarena mountain range, combining the excitement of adventure, the beauty of nature and the cultural richness of this region of Colombia. Every kilometer pedaled and every step taken while trekking has contributed to forging unforgettable memories and enriching our appreciation of the wonderful diversity of our country. We returned home with the spirit of explorers and the certainty that this has been an experience that we will remember for a lifetime. Until the next adventure!
