For several days, we will immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the region, pedaling through trails that will take us to the wonderful caños of the area, such as Caño Cristales, Caño Canoas and Caño Siete Machos. Each pedal stroke will allow us to appreciate dreamlike landscapes, crystal clear waters and amazing biodiversity that will surround us at all times. In addition to nature, we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture and gastronomy, sharing unforgettable moments with fellow travelers who share the same passion for cycling adventure.

Day 1. ARRIVAL AT VISTAHERMOSA. On the first day of our exciting MACARENA MTB bike touring adventure, we will meet in Vistahermosa, a city located two and a half hours from Villavicencio. This day will be dedicated to essential preparations. We will arrive with our bicycles and we will make sure that they are in perfect condition to face the trip. We will adjust the brakes, wheels and any necessary details to ensure a safe and comfortable ride. We will also go over our equipment, making sure we have everything we will need on our trip. In the midst of excitement and anticipation, we will get ready for the great adventure that awaits us in the days to come, with the certainty that this first step will mark the beginning of a unique and unforgettable experience.

Day 2. VISTAHERMOSA - CAÑO CANOAS 97 KM. The second day of our exciting adventure will be a more flexible route, with a maximum distance of up to 97 kilometers. The uniqueness of this day is that participants will pedal the number of kilometers they consider appropriate, based on their cycling experience and personal preferences. At the beginning, we will collect information about each participant's previous rides and cycling experience. With this information, we can recommend the routes to pedal.
We will make strategic stops to regroup, enjoy snacks and a delicious breakfast that will give us the energy necessary to continue. We will do our best to prevent the group from becoming too dispersed and ensure that everyone can enjoy the experience in a safe and close-knit environment. Please note that this day can take around 9 to 10 hours of travel.
Day 3. CAÑO CANOAS TREKKING - LA MACARENA DISPLACEMENT 50 KM. On the third day of our exciting adventure, we will immerse ourselves in the beauty of Caño Canoas, located in the Macarena mountain range. We will begin with an exciting trek that will take us through this magical place. Caño Canoas is famous for its five impressive waterfalls that will dazzle your senses. Here you will have the opportunity to cross behind a splendid waterfall, enjoy impressive views and take a refreshing swim in this majestic environment. Nature in Caño Canoas is manifested in its maximum splendor, and this site will allow you to let your imagination fly while you immerse yourself in its splendor.
After enjoying Caño Canoas, we will prepare for an exciting trip of approximately 50 kilometers that will take us back to La Macarena. Along the way, we'll ferry across the incredible Guayabero River, adding an extra dose of adventure to our trip. During this journey, we will witness a series of impressive landscapes that characterize the route to this municipality south of Meta. The combination of natural beauty and the excitement of the journey will make this day a memorable experience on our unforgettable
Day 4. LA MACARENA - CAÑO CRISTALES CABIN 26 KM. The fourth day of our exciting adventure will take us to the amazing Caño Cristales. We will start early by heading to CORMACARENA to carry out the necessary administrative procedures that will allow us to enter Caño Cristales. Once the processes are completed, we will begin a journey of approximately 13 kilometers. This section will include an exciting canoe crossing of the Guayabero River, a unique experience amidst the natural beauty of the region. We will leave our bicycles in a cabin located at the entrance to Caño Cristales and we will undertake an exciting trek that will take us approximately 7 hours. During this time, we will explore and admire the spectacular nature of Caño Cristales, with its crystal-clear waters and surprising colorful formations. At the end of the trek, we will return to La Macarena along the same route and prepare for a night of partying in the plains, where we will enjoy the tradition, gastronomy and culture of the region. It will be a day full of adventures and unique experiences that you will never forget.
Day 5. LA MACARENA - CAÑO 7 MACHOS 45 KM. The fifth day of our exciting adventure will begin in La Macarena, where we will prepare for a day full of emotions. We will begin with a bicycle tour of approximately 35 kilometers towards Caño Siete Machos. As we pedal, we will enjoy the spectacular views of the region, preparing for what is to come.
Once in Caño Siete machos, we will embark on an exciting trek through this wonderful place. During the tour, we will marvel at the natural beauty of the La Macarena mountain range, exploring its most impressive corners and living the experience of crossing behind a splendid waterfall. We will also have the opportunity to cool off with a swim in these crystal clear waters.
At the end of the trek in Caño Siete Machos, we will take back our bicycles and pedal an additional 15 kilometers, which will take us to our well-deserved resting place in Cañoas. This will be the highlight of our day, where we can relax and enjoy the serenity of this paradise place, replenishing our energy for the exciting experiences that await us in the days to come.
The return to Vistahermosa will be coordinated with the participants.
Day 6. RETURN TO PLACES OF ORIGIN. The last day of our unforgettable adventure will mark the return to our places of origin, taking with us not only our bicycles and equipment, but also the memories, the best photos and the satisfaction of having completed a challenging 290-kilometer journey. This unique experience has allowed us to explore the majesty of the Macarena mountain range, combining the excitement of adventure, the beauty of nature and the cultural richness of this region of Colombia. Every kilometer pedaled and every step taken while trekking has contributed to forging unforgettable memories and enriching our appreciation of the wonderful diversity of our country. We returned home with the spirit of explorers and the certainty that this has been an experience that we will remember for a lifetime. Until the next adventure!
